Gehron Logo #2
This idea is a little bit of a change from the first logo as the triangles that make this up one are larger, all the same color, and much more regular in their spacing and size. I split the letter ‘G’ up into 29 parts and then animated them in a way similar to the Interactive Images. One problem that I have with it is that it looks a lot like a page-loading icon which is interesting but probably not quite the look I am going for. Also, once the ‘G’ is loaded it is difficult to see that it was once made up of small triangles which makes it loose a lot of the effect. The nice thing about the ‘G’ when it is made this way is that it is very easily scaled and easy to read even at a very small size.
The color was a little bit much in the previous logo, but now they are not interesting enough. For my next logo iteration I will probably go back to a white/light colored background with a mid-toned and colored logo. I am thinking that I will make each triangle a different hue so as the ‘G’ unrolls it transitions from one color to another which allowing the viewer to see that it is made of triangles.
